as mentioned before my drama consists in WiFi works sometimes and other times it simply disappears (not even show the driver on device manager) I follow some procedures and sometimes it's even back to normal, what I do is: update driver, sometimes rollback it, reset network adapter, etc etc.

Although I faced a weird situation that got me in doubt If it would be really some network adapter or something else (HD perhaps). So I made my mind, I'll change the WiFi adapter asap. I am struggling so much, and today I tried to dissemble my notebook to see if it could be antenna unplugged, I even made a mini video, its apparently perfectly fine. Network broadcast : Connect only if this network is broadcastingĪutoSwitch : Do not switch to other networks Formatted my computer factory standards Checked the "power management" box off preventing it to turn off on battery What I already read about and tried and didn't work: at the moment when it gets limited I try running the troubleshoot and it shows "Default Gateway is not available" It's very strange because sometimes wifi is working perfectly and out of nowhere, limited. I also thought it could have been some compatibility issue, but resetting it I guess it's not.Ĥ. At some point I thought it could be hardware problems, because it disappeared from my device managerģ. I already know that Intel Internet Network Adapter AC 7260 doesn't have a good reputation around there.Ģ. I would really appreciate if someone could bright up my days! I'm not a computer expert, I just try to solve things myself by researching on web, but in this case, it's haunting me for so long, and it feels like my problem is way "bigger" than people's problems I ever found related to this topic.ġ.

I get connected to the WiFi for a couple of minutes, but now out of nowhere it gets limited connection.
MOST STABLE INTEL WIRELESS AC 7260 DRIVER DRIVERS
So I decided to format my notebook, resetting it factory standards and fresh start, I already have everything set here, all drivers updated, no other crap that could interfere on the wireless network functions, but the error persists. Weekend I could only connect to the internet through ethernet. Then, on the last days of past week, with this persistent error, I noticed that this issue grew on very weird proportions, my Wireless Network simply disappeared from the Device Manager and no matter what did I do, I couldn't get the thing back there (I tried installing the driver again but it said there was already a driver, so I'd uninstalled and did the process all over, and nothing). I learned to fix my problem by restarting the computer (that just to mention, took AGES to restart, to the point I'd have to press power button and force it). I tried to run the troubleshoot or to disable/enable the network adapter and it worked just a few times, most of the times the troubleshoot was "looking for problems" for forever, like it was stuck on that action and for instance if I'd disable the network adapter, and tried to enable it right after, it showed me that message "enabling" but nothing was actually enabled.

Then, problem stopped for a couple of months and recently, last week I've been facing a similar situation but the computer was lagging (mouse pointer/music lagging) for like 3 seconds and then "limited internet". The problem is concerning Wireless Network Adapter (Intel AC 7260).įirst of all what was happening (February 2017) was a constant limited connection and in the beginning just resetting the wireless network adapter was fine. I've been looking for some help on my troubles here and I couldn't find any solutions so far, so I decided to create a thread myself.
